About Little Old Me…

I’m a 40ish mother of two, married to a wonderful man, living on 50 acres in Texas.  My daughter, Sweet Pea, will be five in April while my son, Little Buddy, will be three in June.  Where does the time go?  And more importantly, can I get some of it back?  My husband, Honey, and I have been married for six years this December.  Yeah, it feels almost like forever…  In a good way, of course. Well, mostly in a good way.

I am a Christian trying to live the life God would have me live.  Some days, I’m successful.  And then there are those other days.  You’ll be able to read about both here.

When I’m not blogging (and reading others most fascinating blogs), I’m avoiding housework by reading, crocheting, sewing, gardening, feeding children and animals and husband, watching Food Network (love that knife action), cooking, baking, and general merry making (because I’m not doing housework!).

All the stories are true.  Well, it’s the way I remember them…  I hope you find enjoyment here.  That’s why I wrote it.

These are definately the thoughts of some one that spends way toooooooo much time with small children in the isolation of the middle of nowhere.

I was flipping through some blogs and discovered yours, read through it and liked it. I have placed your blog in my blog’s blog roll (lots of blogs in that sentence). I would be pleased if you did the same for mine http://www.ridinginthesquadwithchrist.blogspot.com . I then realized we went to school together. Keep posting.
